Detailed Description of Actual Services provided :

1. Review, analysis and evaluation of the related studies/policies and proposal of a preliminary design for proper alternative including investment model.

2. Detailed Design and tender documents improvement for the construction of Red Line Mass Transit: Bang Sue-Rangsit.

3. Detailed Design and tender documents improvement for the construction of Red Line Mass Transit: Bang Sue Station and Yard.

4. Design improvement and preparation of tender documents for the railway system of Red Line Mass Transit: Bang Sue-Rangsit and Bang Sue-Taling Chan.

5. Environmental Impact, public participation and public relations

Highlight :

1. Bang Sue Grand Station has been designed for the new land mark as one of the center of transportation in Bangkok area with the following considerations

  • Laws in relating to designing in various parts of the building such as car parking, protection against danger from disasters in case fire erupted, facility to disabled persons and old people.
  • Aesthetic considerations on natural ventilation and lighting, withstanding the effects of the weather, protection from rain wind and sun especially at station entrance and public areas, passage ways, concourses general, platform, lifts general, and lifts for the disabled.
  • Functional requirements arrived at by assessment of the passenger ‘through-put’ during the project peak period, engineering, and the position of existing and proposed buildings roadways and rail & bus systems. Bang Sue Grand Station will be the most busy transfer station for Blue Line, North-South and East-West SRT Railway Lines together with Airport Rail Link joining Don Muang Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport.

2. Improvement of Hopewell’s existing structure to be uses in this project as much as possible.
