CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF HUAI PA THAO DAM

Description The Dam consists of 2 earth filling dams for generation of hydroelectricity at 4.5 MW and irrigation covering the area of 25,000 rai (4,000 ha.) downstream. Main features are
1. Upper dam, a homogeneous earth fill dam of 22 m. height and 870 m. in length. Power house and switch yard with designed generating capacity of 4.5 MW. The structural works include spillway, inlet channel, modified horseshoe conduit, power tunnel and access roads.
2. Lower dam, a homogeneous earth fill dam of 37.5 m. height and 286.6 m. in length. Structural works include spillway and access roads.
