Detailed Narrative Descriptive of Project :
Kho Chang Archipelago consists of 49 islands of various sizes located south of Trat province approximately 315 km from Bangkok on the east coast near Cambodian boarder. Koh Change island itself (20,880 ha) is the second largest island in Thailand with rain forest covering 85% of the area. Due to the variety of natural resources i.e. rain forest, coral reef, beach, mountain, these island have good potential for ecotourism resource development.
Detailed Description of Actual Services provided :
The master plan study covers prefeasibility studies of 5-6 high priority projects, administrative arrangement and management plan for Koh Chang with sustainable development to become an international tourism destination. The career promotion plan for local people and marketing strategy for high quality tourism are also included in the study.
